Pagani Breathe New Life Into 'Old' Zonda's With Their 'Zonda 760 Programme'
Do you or someone you know have an old Pagani Zonda lying around somewhere? Do you not drive it anymore because it feels dated? Perhaps the Pagani Zonda F is your dream car... If you answered yes to any of these, fear no more.
Pictured above is the Pagani Zonda Fantasma Evo. It's a one-off project by Pagani as part of their 'Zonda 760 Programme'. Believe it or not, the Zonda pictured above, started life as a normal Pagani Zonda F, that particular one being the first Zonda F out of the factory in Right Hand Drive.
Now, around 5 years ago, that exact car was almost destroyed in a high speed collision in Honk Kong. What was left of the car was sent back to the Pagani factory who rebuilt the car. After its rebuild, the car was renamed the Pagani Zonda Fantasma. More recently the car returned to Pagani for a few more tweeks, which is where the Evo came in. The Fantasma Evo is boasting the 7.3 litre 760hp Mercedes-AMG V12, the same engine as the other 'one-off' pieces in the 'Zonda 760 Programme'. The whole exterior is made from red tinted, exposed, natural carbon fibre and that wing on the back is marvellous.
What does this mean for current Zonda owners?
Pagani say they are happy to take back your old Zonda and 'turn it into something special' with their 'Zonda 760 Programme'. This means that anybody with a Zonda who wants to enrol in Pagani's facelifting scheme is more than welcome to. If it meant my car could have it'sown name, I'd definitely do it!
